The beginning of something new

Well, here I am. I never thought I would be into blogging. The truth is, I enjoy reading other's blogs, but I have never thought of myself as a person who would be interesting enough to post anything! I always thought that a blogger needs to be great at writing, needs to have an exciting life, needs to have something to say. Honestly, I don't think I'm one of those people.

Well today I was talking to my sister as she drove home from work. I told her that her blog makes me laugh out loud and that I love reading it! After a little chatting she suggested that I should start my own. I told her, "I'm not married, I don't have anything exciting in my life!" She disagreed and said that I could write about anything I wanted:  movies, my thoughts about the day, recipes, books, even the fact that I want to be able to sing Disney songs with my future husband. Well, it seems she convinced me because here I am!

So to get started I'd like to get some things straight. I'm pretty quirky and weird. I dance around my apartment (with and without people around), I like to read, I love music, I like learning new words, and I am known to be found watching various animated movies if I'm left alone at my apartment. Oh...and to sing along to music in the car. Loudly. But I mean, who doesn't do that? Anyway, I don't know what I will end up posting on this blog (things that embarrass me most likely), and I don't know who will end up seeing it, but I'm excited to start something new. Let the fun begin!

  1. Yayy Kayla! I am on the same boat of not knowing what to post sometimes. Glad I can keep up with your life away from Arkansas. (:
